Remember the days of dreaming you owned a horse? Just the smell of a horse was pure heaven. Well, that is a dream that never went away for Zena Howard or Ami Curtis.
Equine Divine has been a work in progress for many years. It's a collaboration of ideas on how to make showing a little easier and a lot more fun. Ami and Zena are no strangers to showing. You might not be surprised as to where we met, you guessed it, ...a horse show. We have both been in the show pen most of our lives. I think in total, we have shown every breed and discipline. Ami grew up showing Hunters and Jumpers, then ventured out to American Saddlebreds and National Show Horses as a teenager. In the 90's she started showing American Paint & Quarter horses and has never turned back. Zena has been on a horse her entire life. She got her first pony at the age of 7, a Shetland pony named "Dudley." She had him out on the gymkhana circuit doing barrels, pole bending and trail. She soon acquired a wild Mustang that she trained herself before she could even legally drive. She showed Western Pleasure, Western Riding and Showmanship in the 80's. Now both of us are wives and mothers of two (each) and are showing Paints and Quarter Horses and focusing on Halter and Western Pleasure. Thanks for reading a little bit about us!
